GreenPol

About the project

GreenPol is a proposed ground-based CMB polarization experiment that will be observing from Greenland. It will include multiple low-frequency channels between 10 and 90 GHz.

Objectives

GreenPol's aim is to do for synchrotron what Planck has done for dust: It will measure the polarized synchrotron emission well enough to robustly separate it from the CMB.

Financing

The Norwegian participation in GreenPol is funded by the Research Council of Norway through the ROMFORSK program.

Cooperation

GreenPol is a collaboration between Niels Bohr Institute, University of California at Santa Barbara, University of California at San Diego and University of Oslo.
