Fredagskollokvium: Regge calculus in dimension 2 and 3

Regge introduced his calculus to get a discrete and coordinate free analogue of general relativity, which among other things could lead to efficient computer simulations. However this approach is not very popular in today's computational GR community. I will give an introduction to Regge calculus and report on findings in space dimension 2 and 3, that would hopefully lead to a better understanding in dimension 4.
