Leonie Anette Färber
I joined CEES in February 2016 to do my PhD in the MARmaED project. I did my Bachelor and Master studies in Germany, where I moved from the South to the North in order to be close to the sea and a possible marine biologist career. I continued to follow this plan and did my Master’s in Hamburg at the Institute for Hydrobiology and Fisheries Science (IHF) and finished with a thesis where I analysed herring stocks for possible regime shifts. For my PhD, I will develop data based models on trophic interactions based on size with a special focus on Barents Sea cod.
