Emiliano Trucchi

Collaborating researcher

I am a Marie Curie IEF fellow working on a project, 'Evolutionary response of two African Rodent species (Hystrix sp) to climate changes: the study of the past as an estimate of the future'. Analyzing the past evolutionary dynamics of these species, this project will implement high-throughput sequencing in population genetics, analysis of museum specimens, Ecological Niche Modeling and evolutionary hypotheses testing in phylogeographic analysis (Approximate Bayesian Computation). During the last years, I studied at the Zoology and Evolutionary Biology lab, University of Roma Tor Vergata, as a PhD and postdoc, working on comparative phylogeography and population genetics.
