Background

I am an ecologist interested in how individuals and populations respond to environmental change and what consequences this has. I have approached questions related to population ecology, population genetics, phylogeography and phylogeny, mostly using birds as model species. Currently, my interests lie on the study of the environmental influence both at the population and the community levels using statistical modelling. In addition, I have experience on the management of large scientific projects and networks, from the early stages of application for funding to the day-to-day running of the projects.
