About the group
We are interested in foraging ecology, life history and population ecology of ungulates, and how these factors interact. That is, we aim to understand how individual movement (e.g. by aid of GPS) affect life history and in turn population dynamics, but also how population level factors (such as population density) affect movement and life history. We often work with questions of interest for management. This includes studies of ecological and evolutionary effects of human harvesting, how climate affect performance of ungulates, and more recently on issues related to tick-borne diseases.
We are currently (2021-2024) working with the AgriDeer-project.
