Necrotrophism in a Gram-positive bacterium - LaMDa publishes in impact factor 9 journal

Karoline Fægri and Anne-Brit Kolstø publish a paper on the role of a novel quorum-sensing system regulating necrotrophism in Bacillus thuringiensis, in this month's issue of PLoS Pathogens.

The research paper describes how the fate of a pathogenic (disease-causing) bacterium is controlled after the death of its host, and has been a collaboration with scientists at INRA Micalis at La Miniere and Grignon, France, and ProBioGEM, France.
