Japan-Norway collaboration!

Numerical simulations of rocket-plasma interaction is our new collaboration project that will start in 2015. It opens many possibilities for students in Norway and Japan!

Numerical simulations of rocket-plasma interaction is the new collaboration project between the University of Oslo and Kobe University (Japan). We will focus on numerical studies of the sounding rocket interaction with ionospheric plasma. This is the educational project, where students at different levels will be able to learn how to use and apply advanced numerical simulation methods for scientific research. Through research projects they will actively contribute to on-going scientific activity within space research. Joint workshops in both Japan and Norway, as well as student exchange between the two universities will be organized.

The project is funded by the Norwegina Centre for International Cooperation in Education (SIU) through the UTFORSK2014 program.
