The validity of the LQ model for high doses have been questioned, and the universal cell survival curve (USC) has emerged as a possibly more robust model. How will the LQ model compare to the USC for a cancer cervix cell line irradiated under different conditions? Also, brachytherapy plans for patients with locally advanced cervical cancer (LACC) were radiobiologically evaluated using models fitted to in vitro data which included the effect of hypoxia. How will the models compare in estimated tumour effect?
