Title: DCE-MRI Pharmacokinetic Model Optimization and Implications on Brain Cancer

Optimization of DCE-MRI tracer distribution using the Tofts, Extended Tofts, and two compartment exchange (2CXM) models. The work has been focused on the 2CXM, while the other models have been used as reference. The considerations include temporal resolution analysis, the effect of bolus arrival time estimation, bolus injection rate, and noise. The considerations are evaluated individually on ideal, synthetic, data and an attempt of applying the results on clinical data was made.
