The Nordic Association for Hydrology (NHF) has awarded the best paper during past two years - 2014-2016 in the scientific journal Hydrology Research.
The winners of NHF’s large prize are Hong Li, Stein Beldring and corresponding author Chong-Yu Xu for the contribution "Implementation and testing of routing algorithms in the distributed Hydrologiska Byråns Vattenbalansavdelning model for mountainous catchments". The article is published in Hydrology Research Journal Vol. 45(3), 322-333.
Chong-Yu Xu is Professor in hydrology at Department of Gesciences and Hong Li was previously a PhD the same place. Li is now working at NVE and she is the first author of the rewarded article.
The best paper is selected by editorial members of The Nordic Association for Hydrology. The prize consist of both a diploma and a money reward.
The Nordic Association for Hydrology was formed in 1970. The organization is for hydrological research and are involved in several activities like; Biennial conferences, newsletter on the web, and an international scientific journal - Hydrology Research. NHF gives awards to the best papers in Hydrology Research, biennially, in addition to some other prizes.
