The DISKOS Database was initialized and developed by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (www.npd.no) and some of the hydrocarbon companies active on the shelf in 1992. The database now contains close to 9 PB of data including seismic (pre-stack, post-stack, field and velocity), well, production and trade data of the NOCS. The department has free access to all released seismic and well data in the database. The database is currently operated by a consortium of CGG and Kadme.

If you need data from the NOCS, please contact drift@geo.uio.no. If you are a Master-student provide confirmation from your supervisor.
