Prof. Helgaker visits greater Boston area by invitation of students

Trygve Helgaker was invited by students at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston University, and Harvard University to give a lecture as part of the Greater Boston Area Theoretical Chemistry Lecture Series

Professor Trygve Helgaker visited Boston May 15 – 20 2018 by invitation of students at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston University, and Harvard University as part of the Greater Boston Area Theoretical Chemistry Lecture Series. His lecture Chemistry in Strong Magnetic Fields was attended by students and staff from all three institutions. Helgaker spent one day at each institution, interacting with students and staff. He had an enjoyable stay at The Verb Hotel, where each hotel room is equipped with a record player and a selection LPs.

The invitation was extended by Ruslan Tazhigulov, PhD student in the group of Professor Ksenia Bravaya at Boston University.
