I have finally settled in Tromsø, and presently am enjoying my days at NILU. This week I have started processing my samples and am looking to see if they contain a type of persistent organic pollutant (POP) called PFAS.
The method is quite colourful making it easy to keep track of your samples. We also use various chemicals both in liquid and powder form, so it's important to dress safe.
