Faglige interesser

Eg er interresert i korleis genutrykkinga er påverka av kromatinstruktur og plassering i cellekjernen. Eg fokuserer på korleis proteinkompleks er involvert i epigenetisk regulering av kromatin i stamceller og differensierte celler. For å studere pakking av kromatin bruker eg metoden Fluorescence in situ hybridisation (FISH) og mikroskopi på normale celler samanlikna med kreftceller. Vidare studerer eg kromatin ved  å bruke biokjemiske metodar der eg lagar nukleosomer in vitro.
