Academic Interests

I am interested in understanding ICT-enabled processes of practice innovation and organisational change from a socio-technical approach. I study technology through case study research using interpretive approaches and ethnographic methods; and theoretically I am interested in theories of technology, information infrastructure theory, and material semiotic approaches. I currently conduct research on the role of ICT in transforming information and communication practices in the healthcare context.

Teaching

Higher education

M.Sc. in Political Science (Politics and Administration area), University of Bologna, Italy

PhD in Information Systems, University of Oslo

Research Project

I am currently affiliated with FIPP: Flexible Integration of Processes in Public Sector <http://www.ifi.uio.no/research/groups/gi/fipp.html>

The project is supported by the Norwegian Research Council through the VERDIKT program
