I am a PhD candidate working under the project called CONFINE in Catalysis section of the University. I mainly work on the synthesis of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs). The main goal of my PhD is to optimize the synthesis of UiO-67 and further alter the framework to serve as a catalyst. Additionally, metal incorporated MOFs are also a subject of interest. I have a background in the synthesis of Mixed-Metal MOFs, where I synthesized Cobalt and Zinc based ZIF-8 frameworks in my Masters project. I also have a hand in synthesizing MIL-101, HKUST and ZIF-67. Apart from this, I use characterization techniques like XRD, TGA, SEM, EDS, NMR and BET to study MOFs.
