Academic Interest

My main interest is in structural biology and biophysics of proteins. Of special interest are membrane proteins and their important roles in biology. My work is aiming at the X-ray crystallographic structure determination of the blood group antigen binding protein (BabA), an important outer membrane bound adhesin of the bacterial pathogen Helicobacter pylori.

Background

M.Sc. in nanoscience from Aarhus University, Denmark. Ph.D. in the field of structural biology from Oslo University.
