Academic interests

In my Ph.D.-project I study the structure and properties of novel oxides and oxyhydrides. I specifically focus on selected perovskite related oxides among the Ruddlesden-Popper group of phases (An+1BnO3n+1). These oxides are investigated as such, and in addition they are the starting point for making novel hydride oxides. I use a combination of all three main diffraction probes (Electron Diffraction, (Synchrotron) X-Ray Diffraction, Neutron Diffraction) and absorption spectroscopy to study the structure and properties of the materials. In addition I use neutron spectroscopy techniques (Quasi-Elastic Neutron Scattering, QENS, and Inelastic Neutron Spectroscopy, INS) to study dynamics in the materials.
