Jyotishman Bhowmick, UiO: Quantum group of unitaries and quantum gauge symmetries III
This is a third in a series of talks.
Abstract: Motivated by the significance of the gauge group and the group
of inner automorphisms in the noncommutative geometry approach to standard
model, we were led to investigate the notion of quantum group of unitaries
of a finite dimensional $C^*$-algebra. Using an intrinsic definition, we
obtain Wang's universal quantum groups $ A_u(Q) $ as the quantum group of
Using this, we get the compact quantum group version of the gauge group of
