The Master program Innovation and Entrepreneurship received a total of 323 applications before the deadline on the 15th of April. That is a new record!
More and more people get to know about the Centre for Entrepreneurship's Master program in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and seek the competence the program offers. So the master program keeps growing, and this year the number of applicants exeeds all expectations.
At the date of the application deadline, 15th of April, we had received 202 applications through the regular admission and 121 applicants through the international admission. This makes a total of 323 applicants. Last year the number was 217, so the increase in applicatants is nearly 50 percent since 2010. The Master program has 35 places divided on the University of Oslo and Bergen University College.
Center leader Truls Erikson is of course pleased with this development.
- The increace in the number of applicants is probably mainly due to our change in work methods, and is thus a result of the way we run the program. We haven't done anything out of the ordinary in marketing that could create such an impact. I believe students who are pleased with the study have recomended it to their friends and acquaintances, says Erikson.
