The official opening of The Norwegian Micro- and Nanofabrication Facility took place at UiO on the 16th of June. The Minister of Research and Higher Education Tora Aasland participated in the opening ceremony.
During the course of the spring of 2011, SMN will step into the new network Norwegian Micro- and NanoFabrication Facility (NorFab), together with NTNU, HiVE and SINTEF. This means that there will be more cleanroom facilities at disposal for the research within micro- and nanotechnology.
