  The increasing trends of developing and using artificial intelligence (AI) in organizations and industries are not without consequence to work practices. Theoretical suggestions for humans to collaborate with AI clash with the empirical studies, which highlight problems with implementing and using AI systems. We investigate this phenomenon through the practice lens of tensions in a Nordic renewable energy organization’s digital transformation (DT) effort. Following an ethnographic case study, we uncover four tensions experts feel across knowledge boundaries in group collaboration settings, disrupting normal work practices and taxing additional organizational resources. Through these tensions, we reflect on the softer and less dramatic changes and dynamics of human-AI collaboration for emerging work practices and DT in an organizational setting.

  Data are the building blocks of the ongoing digital revolution, yet there are still many unresolved questions regarding their role in the study of information systems (IS), management and innovation. As data become increasingly pervasive elements of socio-economic life, we ask whether IS needs to expand the ways in which it conceptualizes data and their role in business and society. This panel report summarizes discussions that took place in the inaugural workshop on data research. The workshop asked what is missing from research on data in IS from four well-known scholars whose work touches upon the topic in different ways. Three main themes emerged from the speakers’ statements that were further discussed by the workshop participants: 1) the need to go beyond traditional ways of conceiving data, 2) the need to investigate the relationship between data and meaning, and 3) the need to study new data management and governance approaches. We present these research themes and connect them with future research directions.

  Data-driven data science challenges our conceptualization of “data.” Significantly beyond capturing a given phenomenon, data, increasingly, are the phenomenon. Data may be iteratively manipulated algorithmically, undermining the “faithfulness” of data to any originating phenomenon. Crucially, data that are not “faithful” are inherently uncertain as data risk becoming meaningless symbols. We empirically study how a community of commercially based geoscientists grapple with the phenomenon of offshore oil and gas reservoirs residing kilometers below the seabed. The data available about these reservoirs are algorithmically manipulated sensor-based Internet of Things data. Our main contribution is the articulation of three patterns of work practices detailing how inherently uncertain data are woven into consequential work practices: (i) accumulating, the cumulative process of supporting and triangulating one set of data with supplementary ones; accumulating captures the conservative approach of backing up existing interpretations of the data, (ii) reframing, the process where existing interpretations are contested by new data or models; reframing captures how there are limits to how far data may be pulled by their hair and (iii) prospecting, the cultivation of competing, incompatible data interpretations; with the former two patterns essentially attempting to regulate uncertainty, prospecting is about embracing it. Our concept of data-centric knowing is constituted by these three interleaved, ongoing practices.

  Lophelia pertusa is a variety of cold-water coral that has colonized the world’s oceans for the last nine thousand years. The coral’s widest habitat is on the seafloor of the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS), which is also home to several oil and natural gas fields, with thousands of wells, pipelines, cables, vessels, and rigs. In 2013, a Scandinavian oil company and a marine research institute presented a web portal that displays real-time ecological data from a subsea sensor network installed next to a Lophelia reef off North Norway (dubbed Venus). Venus is the only area in the NCS where operations are currently prohibited but might be permitted in the future. This situation creates perceived uncertainty related to future business planning, on one hand, and the assessment of possible environmental consequences, on the other. In this scenario, the Venus web portal emerges as a political arena to facilitate the generation and legitimization of knowledge about real-time environmental monitoring in the oil and gas domain. The main contribution of this chapter is to characterize the politics of digital infrastructure. We trace the trajectory of the infrastructure-in-the-making underlying the Venus web portal and show how it is negotiated to simultaneously advocate the oil company’s ability to prevent environmental damage and leverage the collaboration among stakeholders that have contrasting interests in the opening (or not) of the Venus area. We discuss how the inherently open-ended capacity of the Venus digital infrastructure is leveraged through three facets of political work: the performative potential of the infrastructure’s under-specification, the evolvability enabled by the malleable nature of digital technologies, and the use of open data sharing to promote knowledge legitimization.

  All knowing is material. The challenge for Information Systems research is to specify how knowing is material by drawing on theoretical characterizations of the digital. Synthetic knowing is knowing informed by theorizing digital materiality. We focus on two defining qualities: liquefaction (unhinging digital representations from physical objects, qualities, or processes) and open-endedness (extendable and generative). The Internet of Things (IoT) is crucial because sensors are vehicles of liquefaction. Their expanding scope for real-time “seeing,” “hearing,” “tasting,” “smelling,” and “touching” increasingly mimics phenomenologically perceived reality. Empirically, we present a longitudinal case study of IoT-rendered marine environmental monitoring by an oil and gas company operating in the politically contested Arctic. We characterize synthetic knowing into four concepts, the first three tied to liquefaction and the last to open-endedness: (1) the objects of knowing are algorithmic phenomena; (2) the sensors increasingly conjure up phenomenological reality; (3) knowing is scoped (configurable); and (4) open knowing/data is politically charged.

  Offshore oil exploration is concerned with subsea geological reservoirs that are numerous kilometers below the seabed. These reservoirs are knowable only through a knowledge infrastructure of interconnected technologies that are applied to diverse instrument-generated data. Noise, holes, and inaccuracies are inherent in the data, which depend on the technology producing it. We conducted an interpretative case study of data handling work in the exploration unit of a European oil company. Our findings show how data handling involves the skills needed for managing data identities and ownership, a variety of technologies, and contingent negotiations of data needs. We use the notion of repair to analyze this data handling work and discuss how the concept of repair in data handling involves keeping the knowledge infrastructure navigable and attending to countless details. Our research contributes to the literature on repairing infrastructures by considering how repair relates to data work.

  In 1995, marine biologist Daniel Pauly warned against shifting baseline syndrome, or the tendency to assess environmental sustainability against biased or inappropriate baseline data. Today, digital systems have a strong potential to make new Green Information Systems (IS) solutions possible. However, these systems also require in-depth analysis, to prevent Green IS from falling into shifting baseline syndrome. We draw on a qualitative study of distributed systems for environmental monitoring during oil and gas operations. We problematize the creation of baseline data against which the environmental sustainability of operations is calculated. Based on a performative understanding of technology in practice, we illustrate the material-discursive conditions of the data production and use. We present four recommendations for future research in Green IS, inviting researchers to critically investigate the way in which sustainable business processes are mutually constituted by the digital technologies, monitoring practices, and knowledge in organizations and societies.

  Processes of quantifying the qualitative have deep historical roots that demonstrate their contested nature. The ongoing push for Big Data/data science presupposes the quantification of qualitative phenomena. We analyse an ongoing case where the core of the qualitative – judgements, assessments, sensemaking – is being challenged by quantification through Big Data/data science-inspired new digital tools. Concretely, we study how traditionally qualitative sensemaking practices of geological interpretations in commercial oil and gas exploration are challenged by efforts of quantification driven by geophysical, sensor-based measurements captured by digital tools. Drawing on Wylie’s notion of scaffolding, we outline three aspects of the performativity of scaffolding underpinning geological sensemaking: scaffolding is (i) dynamic (evolving with additional data, quality assurance, triangulation), (ii) provision-al (radically changed when faced with sufficiently inconsistent data) and (iii) decentred (in and through distributed, loosely coupled networks of practices). In our analysis, the quantitative does not unilaterally replace the qualitative; there is an irreducible, reciprocal relationship. Yet, there is scope for signifi-cant changes in the role, location and sequence of tasks of quantification with-in the qualitative as we reflect on by way of concluding.

  The proliferation of distributed digital technologies in contemporary enterprise challenges the understanding of situated action. This paper revisits this notion in the era of Big Data and the Internet of Things. Drawing upon longitudinal studies within the offshore oil and gas industry, we empirically expand upon Knorr Cetina’s “synthetic situation” to encompass data-intensive work where people are not co-located with the physical objects and phenomena around which work is organized. By highlighting the performative nature of synthetic situations in the Internet of Things – where phenomena are algorithmically en-acted through digital technologies – we elaborate upon the original formula-tion of synthetic situations by demonstrating that (i) algorithmic phenomena constitute the phenomena under inquiry, rather than standing in for physical referents; (ii) noise is irreducible in algorithmic phenomena; (iii) synthetic sit-uations are productive rather than reductive. Finally, we draw brief methodo-logical implications by proposing to focus on the material enactment of data in practice.

  We know little about the marine environment, particularly in the inhospitable Arctic region. Whereas national authorities often rely on the construction of a solid knowledge base to allow human activity access to new areas, scientists point to the impossibility of building comprehensive knowledge of subsea ecosystems. This paper presents an ethnographic study of a Norwegian oil and gas company’s development of a knowledge infrastructure for measuring the long-term trend of the behaviour of the marine environment, i.e. a baseline to be used as a reference to calculate potential risks in a commercially relevant Arctic area. The company’s infrastructuring mechanisms involve selecting and configuring environmental sensing technologies, and tying them into the fabric of the company’s operational analysis routines. We identify and discuss how these mechanisms address and articulate temporal, spatial, and social tensions and how, in so doing, they mould new representations of environmental risk.

  Enterprise systems are attractive exactly as they promise a stronger unity – integration, collaboration and standardization – across distinct and different organisational units of a business. However, empirical research on enterprise systems has documented convincingly how situated workarounds undermine the unity of enterprise systems through local thus different practices and adoptions. This produces an apparently paradoxical character of enterprise systems: unity in the face of multiplicity. Our contribution is (i) to outline a theoretical middle-position effectively resolving the paradox and (ii) identify and analyse empirical strategies for how the paradox gets resolved in practice. The empirical basis for our study is a longitudinal (2007-2009) case study of a global oil and gas company with 30.000 employees operating in 40 countries across 4 continents.

  We present and discuss a historical reconstruction of the development of a Microsoft SharePoint eInfrastructure in NorthOil (2003¿ 2008). The eInfrastructure was to support strategically emphasized work processes and open up a richer context of decisionmaking around production optimization. Specifically, the new eInfrastructure was to make it more convenient to trace decisions historically and across disciplinary and geographical boundaries ¿ a need driven in part by post-Enron requirements for more elaborate and systematic reporting to the stock exchange. The Microsoft-based SharePoint eInfrastructure was intended to ¿seamlessly¿ integrate the many different and distinct information systems holding relevant information on production optimization. A principal aim of our study is to analyze how, why, and who resisted this largely top-down eInfrastructure initiative. We analyze how local practices rely heavily on specialized, niche information systems that are patched together as an ongoing performance to achieve commensurability. These local practices, however, are not immune to change.   There is an urgent need to address the issue of non-integrated health information systems (HIS) in developing countries. The existing literature on information systems (IS) integration, however, is overly optimistic and prescriptive. It is predominantly technical in orientation, often touting new and better technical approaches to deal with the integration challenges. We identify and build on critical literature that goes beyond the largely unchallenged consensus that integration is desirable (and doable). We are not arguing against integration per se, but discussing the challenges of actually achieving integration, specifically the political aspects of integration. The empirical material is drawn from an ongoing effort to computerize the health care sector and integrate IS systems in India. We focus on the sociotechnical and political aspects of integration of these systems. Our aims are (1) to address the conceptualizations of integration within IS and (2) to provide guidelines for how integration can or should be managed in practice. This article, in understanding the political–technical aspects of integration, has implications not only to health and India, but also to other domains of IS in both developed and developing countries.

  There is strong pressure to achieve greater uniformity, standardization and application of best practices in the service professions, a sector that is growing in presence and importance. At the same time, there is a conflicting demand for the delivery of high- quality ( or high- priced or " knowledge-intensive") specialized or localized services. Our article analyzes information systems- enabled standardizing of service work through an in-depth interpretative study of an ongoing standardization initiative within the field of nursing. Nursing provides a graphic illustration of the dilemmas involved in the standardization of service work. In nursing, standardization is commonly a feature of projects to improve both efficiency and quality in health care. In contrast to the dominant conception of standardization as a largely top- down, imposed process, we offer a view of standardization as incomplete, co-constructed with users, and with significant unintended consequences. The article contributes by ( a) developing a theoretical perspective for the standardization of information- system-embedded service work and ( 2) providing operational and practical implications for system design and health care management.

  The design and conceptualization of Common Information Spaces (CIS) has long been recognized as an important research topic within CSCW. Informed by recent developments in Actor-Network Theory (ANT), this paper contributes to the conceptualization of CIS across heterogeneous contexts. In particular, the paper develops a dynamic perspective on CIS emphasizing how CIS is malleable, open and achieved in practice. Furthermore, we argue that large-scale CIS efforts inherently tend to re-produce fragmentation as an unintended consequence of integrating heterogeneous sources of information. Empirically, the research is grounded in extensive field work in a major international oil and gas company.

  This short paper draws upon our initial investigations into digital infrastructure for oil and gas exploration. Digital oil and gas exploration exhibits many of the hallmarks forwarded under headings such as Big Data (Agarwal and Dhar 2014; Lycett 2013a), the (Industrial) Internet of Things (Boos et al. 2013), and Industry 4.0 (Lasi et al. 2014) – along with associated projections of technological possibilities (Swanson and Ramilier 1997). At the same time, digital exploration is conducted within the confines of well-established industrial structures, where the installed base of existing organizational, institutional, and technological arrangements temper and shape technological visions and trajectories. Digital exploration is therefore a fruitful venue to build and extend upon infrastructure theory to explore the relationship between digitalization, transformation of work and organizing, and industrial innovation (Nambisan et al. 2017).

  With the proliferation of social media, algorithms, simulations, and the Internet of Things in work-related and private settings, the idea of situated action and interaction is challenged. Situations are seamlessly augmented with a wide and expanding variety of digital representations, thus becoming entangled with their material and technological means. This shift resonates with the notion of algorithmic phenomenon (Orlikowski and Scott 2015): the digital no longer stands in for but becomes the phenomenon. Algorithmic phenomena are manifest in our longitudinal studies within the offshore oil and gas industry, characterized by data-intensive work where people are not co-located with the physical objects and processes around which their work is organised. The phenomena under inquiry emerge as algorithmically performed through digital technologies: the datasets, the technological arrangements that generate them, and the practices in which they are embedded are co-constituted. Our contribution to STS expands Knorr Cetina's (2009) 'synthetic situation' to develop a sensitivity to the way different entailments of these algorithmic phenomena play out and under what conditions. Highlighting the performative nature of synthetic situations, we find that, first, noise in the data is not only irreducible, but productive in and of algorithmic phenomena. Second, we highlight how the generative nature of algorithmic phenomena reshapes the ramifications of the synthetic situation. Third, we discuss how politics manifests in synthetic situations. While algorithmic phenomena open the stage for the interaction of diverse actors, they have the potential to further concentrate knowledge creation (hence power) in the hands of a few strong stakeholders.

  Drawing on a critical perspective stemming from socially informed studies of medicine), we analyse an ongoing effort to establish electronic nurse care plans at the university hospital of central Norway (St. Olav?s hospital). We argue for an alternative interpretation of the relative lack of success to date of making the nurses use the care plans. Rather than a preoccupation with the singular artefact ? the plan ? we emphasise the process of planning as a collective, ongoing and heterogeneous achievement. Our perspective on plans implies that they should be recognised as more of a network and less a singular artefact.

  Miljødirektoratet rapporter at det utvinnes mye ikke-fornybare ressurser som pukk og grus i forbindelse bygg- og anleggsprosjekter. Samtidig blir store mengder overskuddsmasser sendt p°a deponi. N°a st°ar man i fare for at bynære omr°ader g°ar tom for disse ressursene. Bransjen er nødt til °a tenke gjenbruk av disse massene for °a klare °a gjennomføre den byggeaktiviteten de har. Regjeringen ser p°a digitale løsninger som en forutsetning i overgangen til en sirkulær økonomi i bygg- og anleggsnransjen Per dags dato ser vi at aktørene som er involvert i et prosjekt, i liten grad samhandler med aktører i andre prosjekter. For at bygg- og anleggsbransjen skal g°a over til en sirkulær utnyttelse av overskuddsmasser kreves det at aktørene samhandler mer p°a tvers av prosjekter. Det er derfor svært aktuelt °a se p°a hvordan man kan utvikle en digital plattform som kan øke denne samhandlingen. I denne oppgaven ble det gjennomført en casestudie for °a kartlegge informasjonsflyten hos aktørene involvert i masseh°andtering, samt barrierer for gjenbruk. Ved observasjon av et masseh°andteringsprosjekt, samt intervjuer med relevante bransjeaktører, var form°alet °a f°a en større forst°aelse for arbeidet med overskuddsmasser og hvordan legge til rette for digital samhandling. I tilegg ble det brukertestet en plattform-prototype . Brukertestingen hadde som fokus °a kartlegge informasjonen aktørene trengte i forbindelse med gjenbruk og hvilke funksjoner plattformen burde ha for at brukerne skulle oppleve den som nyttig. Oppgaven konkluderer med at det i utviklingen av en digital plattform m°a det tas høyde for at det er mange aktører involvert og problemet er komplekst. For det første peker funnene p°a at en digital plattform m°a være veldig enkel fra start. Man m°a starte °a designe den billigste løsningen som tilfredsstiller de enkleste behovene til de mest motiverte brukerne. Deretter m°a man fortsette °a videreutvikle løsningen i iterasjoner, samtidig som man gradvis introduserer plattformen for flere brukere. N°ar plattformen oppn°ar en kritisk brukermasse er det viktig utvikle plattformen til °a støtte potensielle nettverkseffekter digitale plattformer kan generere. Etterhvert som man er trygg p°a at man har bygget en solid base som bist°ar brukerne i de enkleste arbeidsoppgavene kan man fortsette °a utforske, identifisere og ta i bruk innovasjon for °a finne løsninger p°a de mer komplekse eller kritiske oppgavene som aktørene st°ar ovenfor.

  Smidig utviklingsmetodikk har blitt bredt brukt blant programvareselskapene i b ̊ade samlokalisert og distribuert team. I slike situasjoner forekommer det at pro- sjektene ikke leverer produktet til tide, der manglende læring og kommunikasjons- utfordringer kan være grunnen. Derfor undersøkes utfordringene systemutviklings- team har i forhold til organisatorisk læring og kommunikasjon i b ̊ade samlokalisert og distribuert team. Det er gjennomført ti observasjoner basert p ̊a tre case studier. Resultatene mine viser at systemutviklingsteam gjennomfører retrospektivmøter og tar læring av dette, men læringen er begrenset. Det er b ̊ade identifisert enkelt og dobbeltløkkelæringer i retrospektivmøtene, men det er primært enkeltløkkelæringer som forekommer og dette henger sammen med eksisterende teori. Den største hind- ringen for ̊a danne dobbeltløkkelæring har vært gjennomføring av forbedringstil- takene. Manglende gjennomføringsevne skyldes at det fokuseres p ̊a mange forbed- ringstiltak, manglende oppfølgning og tilrettelegging av forbedringstiltakene, mang- lende konkrete forbedringstiltak og involvering av eksterne aktører. N ̊ar forbed- ringstiltakene ikke gjennomføres fører det til at de samme utfordringene diskuteres gjentatte ganger. En konsekvens av dette har ført til misnøye for gjennomføring av retrospektivmøtene. Jeg har utarbeidet en liste med faktorer som har bidratt til ̊a danne dobbeltløkkelæring. Basert p ̊a denne listen har jeg foresl ̊att en modell for gjennomføring av retrospektivmøtene. N ̊ar det gjelder kommunikasjon viser det seg at mangel p ̊a ansikt-til-ansikt kommunikasjon i distribuerte team har ført til vanskeligheter med ̊a forst ̊a informasjonen som blir formidlet korrekt i motsetning til samlokalisert team. Tilslutt konkluder jeg med at manglende gjennomføring av forbedringstiltakene vil p ̊avirke produktiviteten til teamet. Manglende ansikt-til-ansikt kommunikasjon i distribuert team har ført til redusert forst ̊aelse rundt informasjonen som er for- midlet mellom distribuerte teammedlemmer og henger sammen de fleste studiene p ̊a dette forskningsfeltet.

  Collaborative learning integrates individual and collective learning with practical activity. The great demand for learning in software development practice makes collaborative learning attractive. However, social and technical conditions complicate software organizations‟ effort to improve collaborative learning capabilities. In particular, specialization through social structures and technical systems restrict software practitioners‟ opportunities for collaborative learning. Hence, the software organization‟s learning potential is not fully utilized which in turn may constitute a bottleneck to innovation and a threat to competiveness. Existing research from a range of domains provides insights into collaborative learning. This suggests that collaborative learning in software development should be subjected to integrative investigations. Therefore, the dissertation presents an open-ended, integrative exploration of collaborative learning. The main objective is to increase understanding of how collaborative learning capabilities can be improved in software development practice. Two research questions guided the investigation: What are the characteristics of collaborative learning in software development? What are the prerequisites for collaborative learning in software development? Using a literature study covering relevant fields such as software process improvement, team research, organizational learning, organization science and socio-technical research, I develop a conceptual framework that explains how collaborative learning in software development can be usefully seen as a variegated phenomenon with a number of core elements aligned within the pillars characteristics, prerequisites and considerations for improvement. Subsequently, I discuss how empirical results from three investigations of collaboration and learning within Norwegian software organizations elaborate the framework. The discussion extends the framework with empirical findings to provide a preliminary conceptual framework for collaborative learning in software development which includes five characteristics; (1) collective, situated performance, (2) purposeful, (3) cooperative behavior, (4) coordinated action, and (5) empowerment. There are five identified prerequisites; (1) participation, (2) opportunities for learning, (3) knowledge diversity, (4) knowledge redundancy, and (5) proximity; physical or virtual. At last, there are three identified considerations for improvement; (1) a re-orientation of governing values, (2) creating and exploring opportunities for collaborative learning, and (3) socio-technical reconciliation. The preliminary conceptual framework for collaborative learning in software development is a contribution to existing literature on practice-based learning and offers a comprehensive theoretical platform within which collaborative learning in software development can be understood and improved. The concluding arguments discuss the contributions, the limitations of the research and then discuss implications for further research and practice.

  Avhandlingen utforsker IS (Informasjonssystem) støtte av tjenestearbeid, forstått som distribuert kunnskapsarbeid som utfolder seg som en forhandling mellom ulike interesser. Arbeidet er basert på en langsgående etnografiinspirert studie av sertifisering i henhold til en formell generisk standard. En håndfull sertifiseringsrevisorer blir fulgt periodisk, men tett, over tre år, basert på observasjoner, intervjuer av revisorer og kolleger samt utforsking av annet skriftlig og elektronisk materiale. ’W’ sine arbeidspraksiser blir plassert i en større historisk og institusjonell sammenheng. Forskningslitteratur og teori presenteres over fire kapitler fra flere felt: Teknologi og vitenskapsstudier (STS), Samhandlingsteknologi (CSCW), Informasjonssystemer (IS), Informasjonsinfrastrukturer (II) og Ledelse. Målet er å identifisere tjenestearbeidets grunnleggende egenskaper, dets muligheter og utfordringer, fra både arbeidstakers og arbeidsgivers ståsted. Felles Informasjonsmeningsrom (CIS) benyttes som rammeverk for å utforske de heterogene omstendighetene for identitetsarbeid i arbeidspraksiser; Forutsigbarhet i produksjon søkes gjennom ulike standardiseringsstrategier. Tilnærminger for å hindre og dempe standardiseringens iboende bivirkninger beskrives. De empiriske resultater av forskingsarbeidet presenteres og analyseres i fire kapitler som ser på tema fra to vinkler: i) å være en dyktig tjenestearbeider og ii) å utføre tjenestearbeid. Begge vinklinger adresseres fra et lokalt individuelt perspektiv og fra et organisatorisk perspektiv med mål om vedvarende produksjon med kvalitet. Avhandlingen slutter med en Konklusjon om at organisert og standardisert tjenestearbeid fremviser en Praktisk Avdrift som svar på forskningspørmål F0. Hvordan blir IS-støttet distribuert tjenestearbeid negotiert?, fulgt av implikasjoner for IS forskning og praksis. Det empiriske case bretter ut informasjonssystemers (IS) rolle i støtte av distribuert tjenestearbeid – som del i et større ensemble av standardiseringstiltak, en bredspektret tilnærming som fremviser praktisk avdrift som effekt. Tjenestearbeidet til sertifiseringsrevisorer kan karakteriseres som en pågående forhandling mellom delvis motstridende interesser. Det er heterogent standardisert gjennom materielle, rasjonelle/immaterielle og sosial/organisatoriske virkemidler, mange på plass lenge før moderne IT var påtenkt. Tradisjonelt var det på plass sikkerhetsmekanismer som revisoren selv rådde over, som kunne avhjelpe uheldige sider ved standardisering. Med nye harmoniseringstiltak i virksomheten må rekkevidden på personlig handlingsrom endres, men til å begynne med er reguleringen for stram. Over tid kommer en tillemping på plass slik at den overordnede prosessen blir selvregulerende med tilbakekoblingssløyfer. Samlet sett sikter avhandlingen mot å bidra til litteraturen om informasjonsinfrastrukturer, kunnskapsarbeid generelt, og samhandlingsteknologi ved å trekke på innsikt vunnet fra denne spesifikke samhandlingen med sin kontroversielle setting. Caset gir praktisk innsikt for fleksibel systemering av globale kunnskapsbaserte arbeidspraksiser.
