Jeg er flinkest til å oppdatere den engelske versjonen av denne siden.
Min forskningsinteresse er relatert til store og komplekse informasjonssystemer - hvordan de utvikler seg over tid, hvordan vi kan påvirke og styre dem, rollen til arkitektur og hvordan de muliggjør innovasjon. Jeg har gjort empiriske studier av slike systemer i forhold til mobile tjenester, webbutikker og jobber for tiden med helseinformasjonssystemer i utviklingsland.

Jeg jobber i HISP prosjektet og med DHIS2 programvaren, med et fokus på arkitektur. Dette involverer blant annet funksjonell arkitektur, plattformer, standarder, økosystemer og innovasjon.

Jeg arrangerte en workshop om Cloud Computing for Development i 2012, den 3. Innovation in Information Infrastructure workshopen i 2014 og jeg ledet programkomiteen for IFIP9.4 konferansen i 2015 i Colombo, Sri-Lanka og i 2019 i Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
