Academic interests
I will investigate hydrogels and biomineralization process to understand factors affecting mesenchymal stem cell differentiation. Using a bone-on-a-chip model, I will combine numerical modeling with experimental findings to find better strategies for bone formation. Apart from main project, I am interested in microscopy and personalized medicine applications.
Background
During my previous studies, I have learned to combine my physics background with bioengineering to work on the area of biophotonics with quantitative phase analysis of cells through lensless holography. I am a PhD candidate under the Compsci program who is working on a bone remodeling process.
