Maria Guadalupe Barrios Sazo
I studied at Stony Brook University in New York, where I obtained my PhD in Physics. My research was in Computational Astrophysics, focusing on studying White Dwarf Mergers as a possible progenitor of Type Ia Supernovae. I was part of the development team of the Castro hydrodynamics code and led the efforts of adding an MHD solver. My interests involve High Performance Computing.
