The CSIRO is building the Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder
in remote areas of Western Australia. Operating at frequencies near 1 GHz
it will be the fastest radio survey telescope in the world. I will
outline its current status, describe its science potential, and outline
early science results. Towards the end of my talk, I'll discuss the
Square Kilometre Array itself, a multi-country mega-project which will
revolutionise radio astronomy.
