Thomas has moved to a new position at the veterinary Institute in Oslo (1 September 2018).

Postdoc with a background in microbial ecology. He is interested and specialized on the analysis of microbial diversity using amplicon or whole genome shot-gun sequencing, and is especially involved in the bioinformatic analysis of such data, He uses these techniques to understand bacterial species diversity in very different environments ranging from hydrothermal vents, desert soils and the gut communities of marine fish.
