Contributed talks should be 12 minutes long (plus 3 minutes for questions and change of presenter), invited talks are 15 minutes (plus 5 minutes for questions and change of presenter) and plenary talks are 45 minutes (including time for questions). It is very important to not exceed the allocated time to keep the parallel sessions synchronized and allow the audience to walk between sessions.

All presentations must be submitted at latest on the day preceding the presentation or during registration. We prefer to receive the presentations by e-mail. Please give your full name and abstract number (see programme) while submitting your presentation. Name your file as NNN-FAMILYNAME, where NNN is your abstract number. Note that there is free wireless internet access available at the venue. The presentation can also be submitted manually at registration or during the first coffee breaks of the day (Tuesday 15:30–16:00, Wednesday 10:30–11:00, Thursday 09:45–10:00).

During the coffee break before each session, the presenters should meet up in the lecture room of their session. The session chair will give some practical instructions, and the presenters will have the opportunity to inform the chair about such things as the pronunciation of their name.


Posters should be maximum 94 cm wide. The poster session will take place in front of the lecture rooms Wednesday 4 July 18:00-20:00. Please hang up your poster on the allocated board during the lunch break (12:45 to 14:00) on Wednesday. You are expected to attend your poster during the poster session, but we wish to keep the posters on display at least until the following day.
