Your values change, your interests change, new challenges and opportunities presents themselves and you need to re-think your plan and career destination. Knowing how to efficiently plan and carry out strategic steps towards your goal can help you more easily adapt to changes and embrace new opportunities.

WHAT: In this workshop you will get an introduction to how to establish a framework for your individual career development plan and how to set SMART goals that can help you achieve the next step in your career. 

HOW: In the workshop you will, based on your values, skills, results and personal traits, get dedicated time to reflect on what your next career step(s) are, start your career development plan and participate in group discussions on tips and smart strategies for your next career move.

Meet the trainers

Camilla Krogstie

portrait photoCamilla is a career counsellor at the Career Services at UiO. She has a master’s degree in counselling psychology and in her daily work she is involved in individual career counselling for PhD candidates and students at UiO, in addition to facilitating courses on competence mapping, CV, job application, interview training and more. Camilla is certified in ‘How to develop your Career Plan’ and she works part-time as a lecturer at the Centre for Continuing Education and Professional Development at NTNU. She has a great interest in research and is a co-author on the book Designing Courses with Digital Technologis.

 

Vivienne Lumayag

portrait photoVivienne is a career counsellor at the Career Services at UiO. She has a master’s degree in counselling with specialization in career counselling and counselling in groups. During her studies she facilitated the course ‘Experts in teams’ at NTNU and has worked in several counselling roles. In her daily work she is involved in individual career counselling for PhD candidates and students at UiO, in addition to facilitating courses on competence mapping, job application and career planning.
