Being aware of your personal attributes can provide you with self-insight in how you fit into specific tasks and roles and how you respond to different responsibilities.

Being able to describe yourself and communicate how your personal traits fits with a particular job is a central part of the job search process and awareness of both your strengths and weaknesses can help you become a better job searcher. 

WHAT: In this workshop you will get tools that can help you reflect on and describe your personal traits and provide you with insight in how you fit into specific tasks, responsibilities and roles.

HOW: In the workshop you will get dedicated time to apply your new tools for competence mapping on your personal traits through in self-reflection, group work and plenary dialogues.

Meet the trainers

Camilla Krogstie

Camilla is a career counsellor at the Career Services at UiO. She has a master’s degree in counselling psychology and in her daily work she is involved in individual career counselling for PhD candidates and students at UiO, in addition to facilitating courses on competence mapping, CV, job application, interview training and more. Camilla is certified in ‘How to develop your Career Plan’ and she works part-time as a lecturer at the Centre for Continuing Education and Professional Development at NTNU. She has a great interest in research and is a co-author on the book Designing Courses with Digital Technologis.

 

Vivienne Lumayag

Vivienne is a career counsellor at the Career Services at UiO. She has a master’s degree in counselling with specialization in career counselling and counselling in groups. During her studies she facilitated the course ‘Experts in teams’ at NTNU and has worked in several counselling roles. In her daily work she is involved in individual career counselling for PhD candidates and students at UiO, in addition to facilitating courses on competence mapping, job application and career planning.
