Treatment of nausea in pregnancy

Caroline Maltepe is the coordinator of the Nausea and Vomiting of Pregnancy (NVP) Helpline at the Motherisk Program based at the Hospital for Sick Children.
For 20 years, she has been providing counselling and evidence-based information on the management of NVP and hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) to planning and pregnant women, their partners, and healthcare providers.
Additionally, she has co-authored the book, How to Survive Morning Sickness Successfully, and has published several novel studies, such as gastrointestinal conditions and NVP, and preemptive use of antiemetics in women who had experienced severe NVP/HG.
