Pharmacoepidemiology: an important discipline for pharmacy students
Seminar organized by the Pharma-Safe group at the School of Pharmacy
The Pharma-Safe group at the School of Pharmacy, University of Oslo, is glad to announce a seminar entitled "Pharmacoepidemiology: an important discipline for pharmacy students".
The goal of the seminar is to guide pharmacy students through the fundamentals of pharmacoepidemiology and its relevance and application in public health research and clinical practice.
Participants will have the opportunity to get familiar with more advanced concepts such as causal inference and discover how many exciting possibilities and study designs pharmacoepidemiology offers.
Participants will also have the occasion to get an overview of the available data sources for pharmacopidemiological studies in the Nordic countries, with a particular focus on data quality.
The seminar is relevant for all Pharmacy students who wish to get familiar with pharmacoepidemiology, and it is certainly of value for Master students within pharmacoepidemiology and social pharmacy.
There will be pizza and soft drinks after the seminar.
