Over the last decade Prof. Robert Platt has focused his research on biostatistics and statistical methods for pharmacoepidemiology and perinatal epidemiology.
Topics of specific interest include causal inference in observational studies, particularly large pharmaco-epidemiologic studies.
He is leader of the methods team for the Canadian Network for Observational Drug Effect Studies and editor of the book “Reproductive and Perinatal Epidemiology”.
