Angela, Johanne, Nhung, Christian, Sina, and Naify represented PharmaSafe at the NOFE meeting in Bergen, November 3 and 4, 2021. It was very nice to meet and discuss with our colleagues at an in-person conference after almost two years of digital meetings!
Angela chaired the session focusing on methods in pharmacoepidemiology where we had two oral presentations, by Johanne and Nhung:
- Johanne Naper Trønnes. Association between prenatal analgesics opioid exposure and fifth grade school performance – a MoBa study. Johanne Naper Trønnes, Angela Lupattelli, Eivind Ystrøm, and Hedvig Nordeng.
- Nhung Trinh. Antidepressant fill trajectories in pregnant women with depression and/or anxiety in Norway: results from a registry linkage study. Nhung Trinh, Hedvig Nordeng, Gretchen Bandoli, Kristin Palmsten, Malin Eberhard-Gran, and Angela Lupattelli.
We were also represented with two posters by Christian and Nhung:
- Christian Page. Detection of sensitive time windows of medication exposure during pregnancy and long-term follow up; a MoBa study on antidepressant use in pregnancy and school performance. Christian Page, Eivind Ystrøm, Hedvig Nordeng, and Sven Ove Samuelsen.
- Nhung Trinh. Mental health care utilization in pregnant women with depression and/or anxiety according to longitudinal antidepressant fill trajectories: an interrupted time-series analysis. Nhung Trinh, Hedvig Nordeng, Gretchen Bandoli, Malin Eberhard-Gran, and Angela Lupattelli.
The two studies by Nhung were also presented at the Marcé Nordic Regional Group Meeting, and the first study will be presented at the Norwegian PharmacoEpidemiological Network (NorPEN) meeting on November 11 and 12, 2021.
