The 3rd Nordic PhD meeting in Social and Clinical Pharmacy will be held on the 8th-10th of February 2017 in Copenhagen. The theme of the meeting is "Reaching your goals - Approaching thesis writing, oral defense and theory".

This semester, 13 new Master's students start at PharmaSafe. The topics they are working on include drug safety during pregnancy, drug information and use of ADHD medication.

This year, Anne Gerd Granås had the pleasure of welcoming more than 600 participants from 40 different countries to the annual Symposium of the European Society of Clinical Pharmacy (ESCP) in Oslo 5th -7th October. A record breaking 110 participants from Norway took part, many for the first time at international conference. The three days were filled with lectures, 19 different workshops, posters and oral presentations.

Migraine is highly prevalent among women of fertile age. The main objectives of this study were to describe the prevalence and patterns of use of antimigraine medications during pregnancy and breastfeeding and to identify maternal and migraine-related factors associated with medication use during pregnancy.

Several PharmaSafe researchers attended the 32nd International Conference on Pharmacoepidemiology & Therapeutic Risk Management August 25-28 in Dublin which was organized by the International Society of PharmacoEpidemiology (ISPE).
