Modeling single and collective cell migration using a cellular Potts model

Summary: In this talk I will briefly introduce the cellular Potts formalism as a framework to model biological cells. I will then show two applications in vascular biology. One of them deals with single endothelial cell migration and accounts for an intracellular actin-inspired feedback mechanism. The other addresses vascular network patterning of multiple cells in response to extracellular chemo-attractant signals.
