Conformal Standard Model

Krzysztof A. Meissner, University of Warsaw

Weekly Theory Seminar.

Abstract. An extension of the Standard Model with softly broken conformal symmetry (Conformal Standard Model) will be described. The model has only a few more parameters than SM and predicts a new scalar mixing with the Higgs (to be eventually discovered at the LHC). It can explain matter-antimatter asymmetry in the Universe through resonant leptogenesis. Dark matter particles predicted by  the model are very light but much too weakly coupled to be discovered by the existing and planned axion experiments.
