International Symposium on Semiconductors: Defects, Doping and Diffusion (IS2D3)
Department of Physics, University of Oslo, Oslo, Norway
An International Symposium on Semiconductors: Defects, Doping and Diffusion (IS2D3) is being organised at the University of Oslo in honour of Professor Bengt G. Svensson to celebrate his 60th Birthday and to acknowledge his pioneering and sustained contributions to semiconductors, especially defects, doping and diffusion.
This symposium will feature both invited and contributed papers (oral as well as posters). One page abstracts on an A4 page are sought on the following topic areas.
- group IV, II-VI, III-V and oxide semiconductors
- growth of bulk, thin films and nanostructures
- ion implantation processing
- ion beam analysis including Rutherford Backscattering Spectrometry, Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry
- electrical characterisation including Hall effect, I-V, C-V, Deep Level Transient Spectroscopy, Scanning Spread Resistance Microscopy, Scanning Capacitance Microscopy
- optical characterisation, e.g. photoluminescence, local vibrational mode spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy
- point defects, extended defects, doping, diffusion
- theoretical modelling, simulations
