The DISKOS Database is a common, national databank of exploration and production data of the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NOCS).
The Databank was initialized and developed by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (www.npd.no) and some of the hydrocarbon companies active on the shelf in 1992. The Diskos database now contains over 150 TB of data including seismic, well and production data of the NOCS. The department, and all other geoscientific institutes of the Norwegian universities, have free access to all released data in the database provided through vSpace by Landmark.
If you need data from the NOCS contact Michel Heeremans who will download the data. If you are a student (MSc or PhD) provide confirmation from your supervisor.
