Photo-geological mapping of water and ice related landforms

Mars and Earth are similar with respect to their seasonal variations and the presence of water (at least in the Martian past). Plenty of landforms witness the action of water and water ice on both planets.

We offer the opportunity to study fluvial, glacial or periglacial morphology on Mars and Earth in comparison.

This project will be based on building GIS data bases and satellite image interpretation.
