- The marine biological station at the University of Oslo includes a research station (Biologen) and a lodging and conference centre (Tollboden). Identify and categorise solid crystalline materials
About the Marine Research Station
Tollboden is the station's course and conference center with rooms for 21 overnight guests. The three-storey house is built around 1860, and is located a few hundred meters further south in the harbor. The house was given by the Customs Service as a gift to the University of Oslo in 1962.
The Marine Research Station has a base of 130 square meters. It includes a basement with aquariums and laboratories, a main living room with further laboratories and a course hall, and a third floor, a furnished loft with kitchen, living room, offices and guest rooms.
