Mass Spectrometry Unit

Mass spectrometry is an accurate and efficient method to measure the properties of molecules.

This unit was established in 2008 and has as goal to facilitate MS analysis of clinical and biological samples by offering state-of- the-art instrumentation and MS expertise in preparing, analyzing, and interpretation of experimental data within and outside the Glyconor consortium.

Current mass spectrometry instrumentation includes a high resolution Thermo LTQ- Orbitrap XL mass spectrometer with an Agilent Nano 2D HPLC system and a Water micro Q-TOF. The unit also has two work stations for data analysis
