New face: Katja Maria Hydle
Section: Digital Innovation (DIN)
I joined the Digital Innovation group at the Department of Informatics in February as an Associate Professor, coming from NORCE as a Research Professor in Strategy and Innovation. I am currently involved in research on digital transformation, servitization and ecosystem within the oil and gas industry.
Former research has focused on innovation and open innovation in the Aquaculture industry and in entrepreneurial firms. Prior to NORCE, I have worked in SINTEF, IBM and the Norwegian Research Council.
I hold a PhD in Strategic Management from BI Norwegian Business School, a MA in Advanced European Studies from College of Europe, Belgium and I graduated in Political Science from University of Lausanne, Switzerland.
In my research, ICT has been an enabler and I have focused on innovation, professional service work and organizational practices within multinational companies, with outlets in academic journals such as Organization Studies, Human Relations and Journal of World Business.
