Imagine a smart, decentralized power grid that adjusts itself as people trade energy independently. My research on digitalized energy systems has taken the first steps toward making this future possible.

The main research questions are as follows:

  1. How should an architecture for the seamless local integration of prosumers be designed? What are the technical issues associated with the proposed architecture that should be considered?

  1. What specific techniques and methods can be used to take network constraints into account in a distributed market scheme for energy sharing and what impact will these have on reducing power losses?

  1. What are the key considerations and technical requirements for designing a privacy-preserving energy trading framework that effectively protects prosumer data from unauthorized access or misuse?

  1. What are prosumers' preferences when it comes to participating in distributed and autonomous energy management systems? How can these preferences be incorporated into the design of distributed market schemes and privacy-preserving energy trading frameworks?
