Visual Query Formulation for Temporal Data
A growing amount of time-stamped data is being generated everyday with the increasing number of sensors deployed. Ability to access and analyse data from a temporal (e.g., time) perspective is therefore important. However, engineers and domain experts do not have technical skills and knowledge to formulate temporal queries (e.g., SQL) for extracting data from databases. In this thesis, you are expected to develop a visual query formulation tool for temporal data for aiding domain experts to extract data of interest from the data sources encoded in RDF (a data model used for exchanging data on the Web).
