SD: Sustainability Library for Informatics Students and Staff (SLISS)
Do we know at our Department of Informatics enough about the role of informatics in sustainability issues such as climate change, loss of biodiversity, and chemical pollution of people and planet?
Sustainability Library for Informatics Students and Staff (SLISS) is meant as a resource for all people studying and working at IFI. It will organise relevant books, journal articles, and insights in other formats in an accessible manner.
Sustainability is a systemic concept, intersecting with everything we do at IFI. This requires a special way of organising the resources. Here are some ideas, in other areas than informatics, that may inspire you:

We are looking for a group of master students (about 2-6 students). You need to have an interest in sustainability issues, be able to work in a team, and to design, develop, and evaluate a digital tool to access SLISS. Working in a larger group will enable each individual master student to use as well as share their skills. Master theses will be written individually or in groups of two students.
Courses: Mandatory courses are IN5000 and IN5010
