I received a joint PhD degree from The University of Sydney, Australia and Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Italy. I have extensive expertise in computer simulations such as Monte Carlo, Molecular Dynamics and non-Boltzmann Monte Carlo techniques. Apart from being a very skilled serial and parallel (MPI) scientific computer programmer, I have strong background in statistical mechanics.

My research interests include coarse-grained modeling, phase equilibria in polymers, studying the effect of shape and chirality in lyotropic liquid crystals, self-assembly of convex and non-convex shaped colloidal particles and free energy calculations using Wang-Landau algorithm.


I am currently working as post-doctoral researcher and involved in a project on "Multiscale modelling of biomolecues" with Prof. Michele Cascella from CTCC.


We are currently collaborating with Prof. Giuseppe Milano form University of Salerno, Italy and Prof. Thereza A. Soares from Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil.
