My phd is about down-conversion thin films on solar cells, to enhance their performance. I work with Mo-scheelites as the absorbing host material, which have tuneable band gaps. These have not been made by atomic layer deposition previously, and making them is apperently quite challenging.
Both my B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees are from the MENA-program at this university. I have belonged to the atomic layer deposition group at NAFUMA all the way. My master's thesis was about hybrid thin films of Ti and lysine, and the cell growth properties of these were tested at OUS.
When I am not at UiO, I like writing about science or politics, gardening and spending time with my three children.
