My research is focused on the development of materials for next generation fuel-flexible electrochemical cells based on proton conduction in water layers of nanoporous ceramics.
During my Ph.D. at Virginia Tech I worked on the investigation of electron, ion, and proton transport on Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs) thin films, and currently at the University of Oslo I am working on the SUPROX project investigating surface protonics for oxide-based electrochemical energy devices.
Ph.D. in Chemistry, Virginia Tech (2018)
M.S. in Chemistry, Universidad Nacional de Colombia (2013)
B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Universidad Nacional de Colombia (2009)
